A panel of judges from the Club, along with Music Director Sarah Robinson Seeber, presided over auditions last March and selected Eleanor Markey from a talented pool of high school senior musicians. At the HGC “Spring Romance” concert in April, Miss Markey gave a stunning rendition of Bach’s Chaconne for violin and received her $5000 award, above. We wish her every success as she continues her studies at conservatory this fall, and in what is certain to be a brilliant career!
