The Highland Glee Club was founded in 1908 by a small group of men who loved to sing together. For over 100 years, rehearsals and concerts have been performed by hundreds of men who continue to support and encourage men’s chorale singing in the hope of seeing greater interest and growth in this form of music.
Each year the Highland Glee Club holds a competition for its Music Scholarship. This competition is open to male and female graduating secondary school students, who have shown evidence of exceptional interest and ability in vocal or instrumental music and who plan to continue the study of music in either college or music school.
Be a part of a remarkable singing experience. We rehearse every Monday evening during the concert season.
Open rehearsals begin after Labor Day and again after New Year’s Day. Rehearsals continue for about 13 weeks with public concerts at the beginning of December and the end of April.
