In this free, outdoor concert, The Highland Glee Club will perform an evening of classic rock, featuring close-covers of the best rock tunes of the 60s with three- and four-part vocal harmonies, accompanied by the rock band Firefly. Hyde Center Pavilion, 90 Lincoln St, Newton Highlands 7pm
Founded in 1871, the Apollo Club is the second-oldest continuously active men’s singing group in the US and they are celebrating their 150th anniversary.
Apollo Club of Boston will be joined by: Boston Saengerfest Men's Chorus, Highland Glee Club, and Renaissance Men
Tickets are $20 at the door. People 18 and under are free. Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 3:30pm
Music of Elgar, Mendelssohn, Schubert, and more. The concert will also include performances by Highland Glee Club Music Prize winners: 2021, Meihui An, piano; and 2022, TBD.
