The HGC will present its spring concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 at the War Memorial Auditorium, Newton City Hall, 1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton.
The HGC will open its 110th season performing music from a variety of time periods and styles including selections by Josquin Des Prez, Orlando Di Lasso, and Cole Porter, as well as arrangements by Mark Hayes and John Rutter.
In addition to a performance by the Highland Glee Club, we are pleased to be joined by the winner of our 2018 scholarship award. Joanna Marcus, violin, of Newton South High School will also perform.
Tickets for the show are available at the door or can be purchased in advance from HGC members and online through Eventbrite. Groups (10 or more tickets) will find a discount at our website. General admission tickets are $20 each, with veterans and active military personnel receiving a $5 discount.
